I'm a representational artist, living and working in Hertfordshire. My figurative paintings breathing life on the depth of diverse human relationships, depicting power, action or grace while my landscapes are a representation of personal journeys, capturing the

atmosphere and drama in nature and its' seasons.

My inspiration is immersed in the classical style of oil painting that centres around the aesthetic values of colour and unity of space, where the use of light and interpreted brush strokes create a distinctive, contemporary style. I choose oils as a favoured medium, as my portrait and figurative works are heavily influenced by Sargent’s work and his remarkable technical ability to draw with his brush, while the landscapes are inspired by Turner’s interplay between light and colour.

From my studio based in Welwyn, Hertfordshire, I continue to create an eclectic body of work, - with collections that explore various themes, always stretching and challenging my creative focus. My work sells through galleries, exhibitions and UK art fairs and regularly exhibit  throughout Hertfordshire and the 3 counties and in May I exhibited works at The Sussex Art Fair, Goodwood Racecourse in Sussex.

Commissions are always welcome, an aspect I enjoy creating as they embody unique personal statements that reflecting both the character of the owners and their homes.

Don't hestiate to contact me if you would like to commission a bespoke gift of either my portrait or landscape paintings.
